Integrated Management does not include the restrictions of Organic Farming. Integrated Management allows the use of pesticides that are approved for each crop and if their use is deemed necessary. At the same time, inorganic and organic fertilisers shall be used, if and when necessary, in the necessary quantities indicated by soil analyses.

The producer shall be obliged to follow specific production rules in accordance with the instructions of the supervising agronomist and to keep records of the practices applied.

FAMS was created in accordance with the European Programme concerning the Organizations of Olive Growers for the needs of the companies EAS Laconia S.A., Agricultural Cooperative of Olive Producers of Agioi Apostoloi, Agricultural Cooperative of Olive Producers of Paleopanagia, Agricultural Cooperative of Olive Producers of Xirokabiou, Agricultural Cooperative of Olive Producers of Anogia, Agricultural Cooperative of Olive Producers of Kalyvia Sohas. The European programme of Olive Growers ran in 2018-2021 under the scientific supervision of Ioannis Grigoratos & Associates

FAMS is a comprehensive program to record all the actions of Integrated Management as well as the Traceability of Olive Oil. The records start from the olive groves and continue with the orders of the supervising agronomist regarding cultivation practices and end with the processes in the mill and the bottling process.

The programme can identify from the lot number all stages of cultivation and processing and identify not only the olive oil field but even any intervention that has taken place in the field, in the mill and the bottling process concerning olive oil in this bottle.
