We started with Python & SQL scripts for game emulators, we made our first web browser game in 2008 and as we gained more experience, we understood how to create a good & easy to use UI.
Since then we have completed many projects, in Greece and abroad.
Websites, mobile & tablet applications, professional programs, software consultancy, these are in short what we do at Softmides.
12 YEARS EXPERIENCE
Softmides was founded in November 2008 by Grigoratou Sofia, Music Technology and Acoustics Engineer, in collaboration with Nikolaos Damouras Electronic Telecommunications Engineer. We are both active and involved in open source, gaming and CMS development communities such as WordPress.
Softmides has been operating as a Software house since the end of 2010, supporting IT companies. In 2017 we moved to England in a small town, in Banbury, Oxfordshire.
We work 100% remote!
Our applications are mainly developed using HTML – PHP – JavaScript – SQL, using all modern web technologies. We combine front-end and back-end skills, we are fluent with REST API’s and OOP frameworks, we enjoy using modern technology and are trying to follow as much as possible the developments in a rapidly growing field such as the web.
We spend much of our time keeping up with the latest technologies and methodologies, which we try to use on our projects to make sure our solutions are future-proofed as much as possible. We are still, after all these years, excited to work on a new application, which will eventually lead us to new knowledge & experience.
